The museum can turn these into money, plus you're helping the environment.

Spread the word:
Share or friend us on Facebook, share museum brochures with individuals or display at your organization or business and encourage friends and family to take a tour of the museum.

Participate in the Trigs "We Care" program:
Simply write "13S" on your Trigs receipt and drop it in the "We Care" box at Trigs or drop it off at the museum.

Volunteer:
Each year volunteers work the equivalent of a full-time staff person. Volunteers as young as 10-years-old are needed and welcome to help the museum with various projects and fundraising efforts.

Donate to the annual benefit auction:
One of the larges fundraisers for the museum is the August aucton. NCM is looking for new items to auction off and items can be dropped off year round.

Invite a museum rep to your service organization:
An NCM staff member will come to share information about the museum and the programs and services it offers to the community. It's a surprise that even after 13 years in operation, many people have never heard of NCM.

Give the gift of play:
Purchase a NCM membership for yourself, favorite employee, hairdresser, babysitter, teacher, family member or friend. Everyone knows a child that deserves a great day of play.

Shop the Discovery Store:
50% of all in-store or online purchases goes back to the kids! Not many other toy stores can claim that they support a non-profit like this.

Become a Friend of the Museum!

The Northwoods Children's Museum is a non-profit organization that supports families through play while businesses and individuals do what they can, when they can, to help financially. Donations from caring people make it possible to provide a quality children's museum for families year round.

Whether you are one who has helped the museum financially in the past, or one who wants to join the vision of having a museum to enrich lives and encourage a life-long learning - your donations are needed now more than ever! The museum's very existence is a daily tribute to people who care enough about children to share their time and money.

Help is needed at every level

An extra donation in addition to an existing membership.

A contribution in the form of a gift to the museum or in memory of a lost loved one.

A pledge of continuing funds over a period of time.

Join the President's Circle.
Be a Membership Sponsor. Sponsor 10 family memberships each year, bringing children and families who could not otherwise play at the museum, for just $1,000 a year for 3 years.
Be a Program Sponsor. Help fund the craft program or develop a new adventure for field trips that are experienced by thousands fo children each year for just $2,500 a year for 3 years.
Be an Exhibit Sponsor. Help maintain, upgrade and improve exiting exhibits and assist with research into the creation of new exhibits that will enrich the experience of our visitors for years to come. Just $5,000 a year for 3 years.

Planned Giving. Leave a lasting legacy and include the museum in your estate planning. Four of the most common ways to do this are:
