All programs are guided by experienced educators who know how to make learning fun!
Like the musuem, they are hands-on and all participants play an active role in the learning process.

Preschoolers bring their grown-up to the museum every Tuesday morning and learn through interactive activities. 2 sessions are available: 9:30 to 10:30 and 10:45 to 11:45. Cost is $40/family per session and includes all materials. NCM Members can sign up for all 3 for just $100.

Special Needs Night
Children with special needs have their own special night at the museum. These free sessions are held on the second Thursdays of most months from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Sessions are open to all children with special needs and their parents or caregivers. Each is led by Special Education professionals and includes a meal, fun activities and the opportunity to network with other families. Reservations are required for planning purposes. Fun with Fathers
Held on the third Thursday of most months, this FREE program is open to all fathers and father figures and their kids. Sessions include a meal, planned activity and the opportunity to visit and network with other dads. Held at the museum from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. This program is made possible due to the generosity of the Sayner Star Lake Lions Club of Wisconsin. Science Program for 4th & 5th Graders
This new program is designed especially for older kids and is sure to spark their scientific imaginations. Children meet at the museum after school on Tuesdays for 8 weeks to learn about different aspects of hands-on science. Classes run from 4:00 - 5:00. Winter class begins February 7th and runs through March 27th
Each class will focus on a different topic and children will develop both independent and group skills as they explore natural and physical science. Classes are lead by a variety of instructors with real-life experience. Cost for entire program is just $40/child. Preregistration is required.

Young Athletes Program (YAP)
The Young Athletes Program is an innovative sports play program designed to introduce children of ALL abilities, ages 2 - 7, to the world of sports.
Your child can join other children worldwide in improving motor, cognitive and social abilities using foundational skills. Winter and summer programs are offered off-campus and are held every Wednesday for 9 weeks.
The 2012 winter session begins January 25 and runs through March 22 at the Northland Pines Middle School from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Cost is just $10 per family. Call to preregister at 715.479.4623.
