Trig's Easter Bunny Breakfast

A fund-raising breakfast hosted by Trig's Fine Food of Drugs of Eagle River. Always on a Saturday some time prior to Easter from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The 2008 Easter Bunny Breakfast date is currently undecided. Adults and children pay an admission charge - proceeds benefit the children's museum.

NCM's Birthday Party

The museum celebrates its birthday on the 3rd Saturday in May from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The 2008 Birthday Celebration is May 17, 2008. The day includes carnival style games (both inside the museum and out), prizes and treats for the whole family. Past event sponsors have included Peoples State Bank, WYOW TV34, B93 Radio, Vilas County News Review, Marshfield Clinic, Eagle River Memorial Hospital, Howard Young Foundation and Conserve School and co-sponsored by Dairy Queen of Eagle River and The Country Store. Game tickets are 25 cents each. A $6.00 admission fee applies. Guests paying admission receive a starter set of game tickets.

Children's Museum Benefit

Always the first Tuesday in August. The 2008 auction date is August 5, 2008. The event is sponsored by M&I Bank of Eagle River and Eagle Waters Resort with media partners, WRJO 94.5fm and WJFW TV-12. Online bidding begins three weeks prior to the event (Click on Benefit Auction at the Home Page). The event is hosted at Eagle Waters Resort from 5:00 p.m. to approximately 9:30 p.m. The evening includes about 100 silent auction packages and 100 live auction packages donated by area businesses, craft persons, artists, resorts, and restaurants. Silent Auction bidding starts at 5:00 p.m. and ends at the Live Auction intermission (approximately 8:30 p.m.) Live Auction bidding starts at 6:45 p.m. and ends at approximately 9:30 p.m. All proceeds benefit the children's museum.

Turkey & Traditions Days

Always the Friday and Saturday following Thanksgiving. The 2008 Turkey & Traditions Days are Friday, November 27, and Saturday, November 28, 2008. The museum is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with craft workshops at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., wreathmaking all day during business hours and a turkey calling contest at Noon

Santa Saturday

Santa Saturday is the 1st Saturday in December. 2008 Santa Saturday is scheduled for December 6, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The day features holiday craft workshops at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., wreathmaking and selected holiday craft making all day, and time with Santa at Noon.
