Dino Dig Adventure


Available To PreK to Grade 3 school field trips September through April.  The next Public Adventure is Saturday, September 22, 2007 at 11:00 a.m.
Recommended minimum age - 5 years

World famous Wisconsin paleontologist Roy (Gobi) Chapman Andrews is recruiting junior paleontologists for a 1923 Gobi Desert expedition to the Northwoods Children's Museum Dino Dig site.

The adventure includes;
- paleontology training
- a garbology lesson
- a camel caravan across the Gobi Desert to the Museum's dig site
- an "overnight" stay at a desert oasis
- unearthing dinosaur bones
- reassembling dinosaur bones in a natural history lab, then naming the created dinosaur
- taking the assembled dino skeleton home

Field trip prices for three, four and five star field trips include the adventure.  Ticket prices for public adventures are as follows;
